Note: Not all lovebirds below are available, with some rarer than others to breed. The rich, beautiful color of baby lovies’ feathers, especially the brightness of their rosy cheeks, will shine through after they molt.
Bright Green: These green lovebirds are sweet, adorable little babies. Active and friendly with people, they love to cuddle and sleep on your hands and shoulders.
White-faced Violet: Violet babies have always been a favorite among hobbyists and breeders alike. For they have elegant blue feathers that ranges in shade from light to dark, and a royal blue tail that completes its beauty.
White-faced Violet Pied: White-faced with a beautiful plumage of dark blue tinged with streaks of yellow, these babies are truly lovely. Depending on their unique patterns, babies may have pure yellow wings or rimmed ones.
White-faced Yellow and Green Pied : These brilliant yellow and green pied lovebird babies are a beautiful variation of the peach-faced lovebirds. With multiple genes for color, each baby always has an unique pattern of its own.
Peach-faced Yellow and Green Pied : The pied’s beautiful patterns make them popular among lovebird hobbyists. Their face will become a bright rosy colour as they age, with brilliant gold and green plumage and a turquoise rump.
Peach-faced Opaline Pied : The baby is of the rare Opaline pied mutation, with a gorgeous red and yellow banded forehead like a Lutino, and a chartreuse-green body. Its wings are rimmed with a bright yellow color, with a stunning fire-coloured tail.
Peach-faced Opaline Green : This Opaline green is unlike any other green bird, in that its forest colours are interlaced with streaks of yellow. It has a brilliant, fire-like tail mixed with tinges of green and turquoise, with a lovely peach-face that makes it a stunning pet to have.
White-faced Turquoise Pied : The light green pied babies are coated with a diverse range of brilliant turquoise, and have beautiful yellow patterns along their outer wings. Coupled with a turquoise tail and a golden (or sometimes white!) forehead, these babies are truly adorable.
White-faced Dark Green (Turquoise Green): This baby often has rich, forest green feathers that extends smoothly into its royal blue tail. It has a delicate white face and a baby blue belly, and is just extremely cute!
Creamino : These beautiful creamino babies are rare diluted mutation of the Lutino. Its graceful, light yellow colour makes it one of the most beautiful lovebird variations. They have unique red eyes and a dazzlingly pure tail. Very rare.
Lutino : Lutino lovebirds are quite rare to find on the market, and their brilliant golden colouring and unique fire splattered tail make them one of the most popular variation of lovebirds among pet owners. (Picture is of an adult Lutino)
White-faced blue Pied Violet Dilute: These stunning blue pieds are lighter in colour, and often have pure yellow wings and a golden crown. Its blue feathers are tinged with violet and they are a treasure to have as a pet!
White Turquoise Pallid : White Turquoise Pallids have elegant, near-white feathers and a brilliant, royal blue rump. They are extremely rare (as their unique light colour is difficult to obtain).
Seagreen Pied: The Seagreen pied baby has a beautiful baby green belly, coupled with forest green plumage and a golden crown. White-faced with a turquoise rump.
Australian Cinnamon: Cinnamons have elegant baby yellow feathers that ranged from soft to bright depending on their variation. A beautiful white face and a turquoise or ocean blue tail.
